Memorials update – 28 July 2021

Due to events beyond our control resulting from significantly delayed shipments from overseas, memorial orders are currently being received later than expected. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We are endeavouring to limit any disruption to a minimum.

If you are considering purchasing a memorial, we encourage you to place your order at the earliest opportunity to ensure its installation as early as possible.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any enquiries, please contact the Crematorium Office.

Welcome to West Lancashire Crematorium

Set in the heart of the countryside on the edge of Burscough, this new cemetery and crematorium provides a natural place for families of West Lancashire to hold a dignified service of their choice.

Nestling in the Lancashire countryside, the building has been especially designed to blend into its natural surroundings, offering a place of peace and seclusion, so important for a funeral.

Over 40 acres has been dedicated to finally provide a new crematorium and burial service for the people of West Lancashire. This ensures that the bereaved have the space and time to organise the individual funeral that they want.
